Planning. Precision. Partnership.

Verde Sports Construction - built around your project, not just your plans.

Why Verde Sports Construction

Most construction companies deliver plans. Verde Sports Construction delivers outcomes.

For over two decades, we've built our reputation on the quality of our finished work — and everything that protects it. We get involved early, ask the hard questions upfront, and build a plan around what your budget. When surprises arise, we solve them internally — adjusting scope and finding alternatives rather than defaulting to change orders.

One Team. Total Ownership.

We can be as turnkey as you need us to be — and we mean that fully. From initial budgeting and feasibility through design, construction, and final finish work, our company owns the entire process. One point of contact. One team accountable from the first conversation to the day you open. No hand-offs, no gaps, no finger-pointing when something needs to get solved.

Our principals are on the job, not just on the phone. You'll have real visibility into your project at every stage, and when decisions need to be made, the right people are already in the room.

The result is fewer surprises, tighter budgets, and a finished course that looks exactly like the vision you had at the start.

Meet Our Team

Josh Peters

Managing Partner

Josh Peters brings over two decades of golf industry experience spanning development, construction, renovation, and design. His career began in Kona, Hawaii in 2000, crafting courses for Nicklaus and Fazio alongside architects and developers on large-scale golf and real estate projects — giving him a foundation built at the highest level of the craft.

From there, Josh joined Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design in Dallas as a design associate, managing multiple projects that earned placement on the top Texas course list, including TPC Las Colinas Resort, recognized by Golf Inc. Magazine as its 2008 Renovation of the Year.

As Managing Partner of Verde Sports Construction, Josh oversees all aspects of the company with the same hands-on approach he's carried throughout his career — managing multimillion-dollar budgets, navigating complex scopes, and delivering finished work on courses that demand the highest standards.

What drives him most is the partnership. Josh believes the best projects are built on trust, transparency, and a genuine investment in the owner's vision — and that philosophy is at the core of everything Verde Sports Construction does.

Josh is a member of the Golf Course Builders Association, the United States Golf Association, and multiple regional Golf Superintendent Associations.

Neal Iverson

Vice President

Neal Iverson brings 45 years of golf industry experience and a reputation for getting projects done right. His career began in golf maintenance before transitioning to irrigation installation and design, where he developed innovative approaches to water conservation — including the concept of "Brown is Beautiful," a philosophy of designing irrigation systems that improve playing conditions while significantly reducing water usage.

Over the course of his career, Neal has completed projects across 10 states and seven countries, collaborating with some of the most respected names in golf course design including Pete and Perry Dye, Jack Nicklaus, David Kidd, Tom Fazio, and Tom Doak. His portfolio includes the acclaimed Kukio Golf and Beach Resort, Hokulia, and Nanea Golf Club on the Big Island of Hawaii.

At Verde Sports Construction, Neal serves as the connective tissue between vision and execution. As Vice President, he oversees company management, project tracking, and irrigation — and brings a level of personal engagement to every client relationship that ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

Andy Dunlop

Operations

Andy Dunlop's career in golf and landscaping spans more than two decades, rooted in a genuine passion for the game and the surfaces that define it. He began in golf course maintenance in Southern Utah before his eye for design drew him toward landscape architecture and irrigation systems. He went on to found his own successful landscaping, irrigation, and design company, earning repeated invitations to participate in the prestigious St. George Parade of Homes.

Andy has designed and constructed golf courses across five states and Mexico, and deepened his craft by attending the inaugural American Society of Golf Course Architects Boot Camp at Erin Hills, training under some of the world's leading course architects. He is also a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

A lifelong golfer who competed through college and continues to play award-winning and historically significant courses across the country, Andy brings something to every project that goes beyond technical skill — a player's perspective on what makes a course truly great.

Ryan Cassidy

Project Coordinator

Ryan Cassidy brings over a decade of golf industry experience to Verde Sports Construction, with a background spanning project logistics, operations, licensing, and communications. Over the course of his career he has successfully completed more than 100 restoration projects across the country.

Ryan is the kind of detail-oriented problem solver that keeps complex projects on track. He is well-versed in As-Built documentation, GPS equipment, and AutoCAD — and knows how to put those tools to work in service of a smooth, predictable project experience for every client.

At Verde Sports Construction, Ryan is a true believer in the company's commitment to seamless client communication and outcomes that match the original vision. That commitment shows in everything he does.
